Mega Metal: How long did you train before you wrestled your first match in front of a crowd?
Andy Douglas: 3 months

Mega Metal: Do you remember that match and what was the out come?
Andy Douglas: I wrestled in my hometown against John Noble under a mask going by Doctor X. The match was about 8-10 minutes, I almost puked before I walk out. I won the match with a sunset flip out of the turnbuckle.

Mega Metal: Was it everything you had hoped it was?
Andy Douglas: I was scared to death and didn't know what to expect.

Mega Metal: Do you ever have any regrets about getting in the biz?
Andy Douglas: Wish I would have started at a younger age.

Mega Metal: What is the biggest misconception about your job?
Andy Douglas: The rings are soft and it doesn't hurt. Oh yeah, and we have special metal chairs that don't really hurt.

Mega Metal: What are some of the ups and downs about being a pro wrestler?
Andy Douglas: You can have millions of people that love you, but at the end of the day you are still all alone in your hotel. It's a delicate balance of what can make some guys happy and some guys depressed.

Mega Metal: What federations have you worked for?
Andy Douglas: NCW, NWA TNA, NWA MAIN EVENT, USA CHAMPIONSHIP, NWA OKLAHOMA, NWA FLORIDA, CYBERSPACE, WRESTLE BIRMINGHAM, GEORGIA CHAMPIONSHIP

Mega Metal: Do you have a favorite independent federation?
Andy Douglas: Right now it would have to be Wrestle Birmingham. Wonderful shows, great crowds, and very professionally run.

Mega Metal: Are there any new wrestlers that you see potential in?
Andy Douglas: On the indy level....John Noble, Eddie Browning, Brian Beach

Mega Metal: What is your finishing move? ,br> Andy Douglas: Tag: Natural Disaster Single: Natural Selection

Mega Metal: Have you had any major injuries?
Andy Douglas: Dislocation of both shoulders, twice each, and several concussions.

Mega Metal: If Yes, What was it like not being able to wrestle?
Andy Douglas: Don't know, I never took time off.

Mega Metal: When you were cleared to wrestle again what was that match like for you?
Andy Douglas: Well wrestling hurt is always tricky. You want to protect yourself, but if you slow down and don't go full speed you can put yourself in a position to get hurt worse.

Mega Metal: Who are your favorite all-time wrestlers?
Andy Douglas: Rock 'N' Roll Express, Terry Taylor, Curt Hennig, Jake Roberts, Bret Hart

Mega Metal: If you had the chance to wrestle anyone in the Biz that you have never wrestled, who would that be and why?
Andy Douglas: Bret Hart, just to see how good the Best really is.

Andy Douglas: I check my message board almost daily and I try to answer all of my fans.

Mega Metal: Do you prefer the Independent federations or the Major federations?
Andy Douglas: Major Feds are a job. Indies are fun. Bottom line.

Mega Metal: What has been the biggest crowd you have wrestled in front of?
Andy Douglas: 4000. It was at a stock car track in South Carolina.

Mega Metal: Have you wrestled overseas? Do you have any plans to do so?
Andy Douglas: Not yet. I think we might be doing a tour in Japan very soon.

Mega Metal: As a wrestling fan, do you have a personal favorite all-time match?
Andy Douglas: As a fan, it would have to be Bret and Shawn's Iron Man Match.

Mega Metal: Who are some of your favorite wrestlers today?
Andy Douglas: I really enjoy watching Sabu, Abyss, Chris Sabin, Bobby Roode, and Showtime Eric Young.

Mega Metal: You have been in lots of great matches over your career, do you have a personal favorite one?
Andy Douglas: I was very proud of our Double Ladder Match. Also, the first ever Six Sides of Steel. But, because of the circumstances, my favorite would have to be our match with AMW right after Chris Candido passed away. Very emotional.

Mega Metal: If you could book a wrestling main event, which 2 wrestlers would you face off and what type of match would it be?
Andy Douglas: Andy Douglas vs. Chase Stevens....it's only happened once and it was a load of fun.

Mega Metal: Let’s talk a little about music, what type of music are you into?
Andy Douglas: Shinedown, Shooter Jennings, Hinder, Rob Zombie, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd

Mega Metal: What was the last concert you went to?
Andy Douglas: Rob Zombie, and getting ready to go to another one of his in March.

Mega Metal: When you are not wrestling, what do you do in your spare time?
Andy Douglas: Sleep, sleep, and more sleep. And go to the movies from time to time.

Mega Metal: What is the craziest thing you have experienced since getting involved in the business?
Andy Douglas: Getting to party with guys that I grew up watching.

Andy Douglas: Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, Bram Stoker's Dracula

Andy Douglas: The NWA TNA Tag Team Titles back around the Naturals waists.
